Sweet & Sour sauce
Ingredients
- 15oz can of pineapples
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- Brown sugar (or white) to taste
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- Dash of Worcester sauce
Method
1. Drain the pineapple but keep the juice.
2. Add all ingredients to the juice and make up to half a pint with water in a saucepan.
3. Add a little water to cornflour and mix. Add this to saucepan
4. Heat until thickened stirring all the time
5. Heat fruit in the sauce.
6. Can also add cooked chicken and heat through with fruit
