Chia seed Jam

Ingredients

  • 1. *1 cup cooked berries* (see cooking instructions below)
  • 2. *2 tablespoons chia seeds*
  • 3. *1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)*
  • 4. *1 tablespoon lemon

Method

1. Cook berries until tender.
2. Mash or puree berries.
3. Mix cooked berries, chia seeds, honey/maple syrup (if using), and lemon juice.
4. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Variations
1. Add vanilla extract or cinnamon for extra flavor.
2. Use different sweeteners (e.g., agave, coconut sugar).
3. Experiment with various berry combinations.
Storage
1. Refrigerate: up to 5 days
2. Freeze: up to 2 months
